Savills in the Netherlands has been appointed to manage a new mixed-use project, The Pulse, upon its expected completion in Q4 2024. Situated at Gustav Mahlerlaan 20 on the Zuidas in Amsterdam, the mixed-use building is designed to accommodate approximately 35,000 sq m of office space, along with 3,500 sq m dedicated to amenities including hospitality venues, a supermarket, and a cinema. Additionally, the building provides space for 200 rental apartments. Operating completely self-sufficiently and committed to climate neutrality, The Pulse will receive a BREEAM Outstanding certification upon completion. This property is part of Union Investment's real estate portfolio, for which Savills Property Management department already manages several properties.
Philippine Bogaardt, Head of Commercial Management at Savills in the Netherlands, says, "Savills Property Management division in the Netherlands is broadening its services with The Pulse, introducing residential property management into our portfolio. Managing The Pulse provides us with an opportunity to combine our expertise in the field of high-quality commercial management with a new discipline about which we already have extensive knowledge, all united in one building. We have been building our local in-house knowledge behind the scenes over the past year – drawing on our international residential management strengths. Additionally, we have seen a rise in demand for managing mixed-use properties. Hence, broadening our range of services with residential property management is the logical next step. The initial assignments of mixed-use complex management are already underway, and we are pleased that our clients have entrusted us with the management of these buildings, contributing significantly to the vibrancy of the surrounding area."
The 200 apartments will become available for rent in the second quarter of 2024; for more information, please visit https://thepulse-living.nl/.
