Savills BPC & Architecture Department Develops 4,000 sq m Project for Emma, the Multinational Company

Savills has been commissioned to develop the design and build of the new offices for the company

The Savills BPC & Architeture team was responsible for the design & build of the multinational company Emma´s offices in the Lumnia building, located within the cutting-edge EXEO Campus in Lisbon. Spanning a total area of 4,000 sq m, the project´s primary goal was to reflect Emma´s core identity while creating a workspace that promotes well-being, creativity, and collaboration.

Designed with a user-focused approach, the space offers a range of carefully designed environments to provide diverse experiences. From focus areas and training rooms to relaxation areas, a cinema room, and a versatile communal area – which can serve as a dining space, auditorium, event venue, or work café – every detail has been meticulously planned to ensure both functionality and comfort. The expansive open space and various collaborative zones are crafted to promote interaction, with the brand’s identity seamlessly integrated into every aspect.

Emma was founded in Frankfurt, Germany, in December 2015 and has since expanded its concept to more than 25 countries on 3 continents. The company has revolutionised the sleeping experience with the development of its technology and distinguishes itself by offering high-quality products at affordable prices.

The Lumnia building, a landmark of contemporary architecture in the capital, was built based on strict sustainability principles and is a reflection of the harmony between modernity and well-being. Surrounded by commercial spaces, leisure areas, restaurants and green areas, it provides a perfect balance between professional life and the physical and mental well-being of its users.

Laura Franco, Senior Architect at Savills Portugal, emphasises: “Developing the design & build of a space of this size located in the Lumnia building, which has the prestigious LEED GOLD certification, was both a challenge and a privilege for Savills. Our aim was to create an environment that not only mirrored Emma’s identity, but also provided a transformative experience in line with the highest standards of well-being and sustainability.”
