Savills Portugal has appointed Bruno Amaro as the head of its new Rural Department, created to meet the growing demand for professional advisory services among national and international investors interested in agricultural and forestry land in Portugal. With over 15 years of experience in business development and asset management across multinational companies, Bruno Amaro brings a wealth of expertise to the role.

Amaro, who holds a law degree, stands out for his extensive national and international experience in establishing and managing companies, assets, and agricultural investment funds. He is an expert in legal audits, commercial negotiations, and corporate law, having participated in over 1,000 asset transactions. His career highlights include the establishment of a 20,000-hectare agricultural business and the management of an investment fund with a portfolio exceeding 30,000 hectares. Additionally, his membership in the Bar Associations of Portugal and Romania enhances his credibility in business development.

Savills Portugal is solidifying its position in the national market through this appointment, expanding and diversifying its service offerings. The Rural Department represents a return to the company’s roots, with Savills history in the UK being closely tied to rural and land management services.
