Character.com to open doors to Kingston Upon Thames store

Children’s clothing provider Character.com is opening the doors to its first full line physical store, at The Bentall Centre in Kingston upon Thames. International real estate advisor, Savills, advised on the deal, which saw the retailer commit to a five-year lease.

Located on the lower ground floor level of the centre, the new store comprises over 3,000 sq. ft. in total. It will offer a wide range of licensed character merchandise, featuring beloved brands from TV, film, and games, catering to fans of all ages. Shoppers can expect clothing, accessories, and toys from franchises such as Disney, Bluey, Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, and lots more, making it a go-to destination for fans of all ages.

The opening forms part of the brand’s wider UK retail expansion strategy, as it recognises the value of an omnichannel approach for sales. Savills is assisting with their plans for expansion entailing the opening of three additional stores this year, with further ambitious plans for 2025.
