Provast has acquired the UWV office in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, from a fund managed by Harbert Management Corporation, in partnership with Quan Investors for an undisclosed price. The office spans ca. 11,000 sq m while the plot has a total area of ca. 13,000 sq m.
The municipality and Dutch Railways (NS) have identified the Alkmaar station area as a key development zone, aiming to create a high-quality urban environment with a blend of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces. The redevelopment of the UWV office aligns with this vision and contributes to the transformation of the area into an attractive urban hub.
Harbert Management Corporation, in partnership with Quan Investors, was advised by Savills and Greenberg Traurig. Provast was assisted by WCOA and Loyens & Loeff. ABN Amro provided the project's financing.
