Bas Wilberts has joined Savills Dutch Management Team, representing the investment department, with immediate effect. Currently heading up the Residential & Hotel Investment division, Bas takes over from Jan de Quay, who, after 18 years, is handing over his management responsibilities in the interest of continuity and to harness the potential of younger colleagues.

Jan de Quay will remain closely involved with Savills in a strategic role as an ambassador and deal initiator for the Investment department and other teams. "After 18 years leading the Investment department, now is the right time for me to pass the baton to the highly capable next generation. I have full confidence in Bas and am convinced that he is the right person to lead and further develop the team. I look forward to continuing to contribute to Savills ongoing success," says Jan de Quay.

Bas Wilberts adds: "I am honoured to take on this role and motivated to build on the strong foundations that Jan has established. Together with the team, I aim to continue innovating and providing the best service for our clients in this rapidly evolving real estate market. I will be attending EXPO Real in Munich from 7 to 9 October, and look forward to meeting with partners and new contacts there."
