Savills Germany has expanded its retail team with the appointment of Thomas Nandzik, who joined the firm on 1 August as a director in its retail agency team in Frankfurt.

Thomas has almost 35 years’ experience in the real estate industry, including 14 years at CBRE where he was a senior director in the retail team. Between 1995 and 2008, he worked as Managing Director at Kemper’s which at the time was one of the largest retail property brokerage consultancies. He started his career in property at Lammerting-Immobilien Group.

Daniel Kroppmanns, Head of Retail Agency Germany at Savills, says: “Retail occupiers are still undergoing adjustment processes and changing their concepts while consolidating or downsizing their space requirements. At the same time, they are taking longer to make decisions while needing more complex advice.
