With an impressive background in centre and retail management, Mark brings over 25 years of experience and a proven track record of excellence in operational management, stakeholder engagement, and innovative retail strategies.

Cityside Retail Park is Northern Ireland's largest leisure and retail development, spanning approx. 300,000 sq ft on the edge of Belfast City Centre.

In his new role, Mark will be responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of Cityside Retail Park. His duties will include driving continual improvement, enhancing trading performance, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. Mark's extensive experience in innovative retail management and his customer-focused approach will be instrumental in maximizing the park's potential and ensuring it remains a top destination for visitors.

Mark Rainey is an award-winning Centre Manager, known for his dynamic leadership and ability to turn around underperforming centres. He joins Cityside Retail Park from Connswater Shopping Centre and Retail Park, where he managed 224,000 sq ft of retail space and 51 stores. Under his leadership, Connswater achieved its highest-ever commercial placemaking revenue and received numerous accolades, including being a runner-up for the All-Ireland Centre Manager of the Year at the Sceptre Awards.
