Semrush B.V., provider of SaaS (Software as a Service), advice and support for (online) marketing of companies, is moving into a new office space in the heart of the Zuidas central business district, Atrium Amsterdam. The lease agreement with landlord Atrium South Tower B.V.comprises approximately 1,500 sq m of office space.
“Semrush is a leading online visibility management platform dedicated to helping businesses grow, and we’re excited to continue expanding our global footprint,” says Steve Owens, Semrush VP of Operations. “Amsterdam is a product and engineering hub for Semrush and we’re proud to work with our real estate partners to enable a world-class working environment for our wonderful team.”
Atrium Amsterdam consists of three buildings; the central building, built in 1972, and the North and South Towers, Atrium's new build towers. The centre building was renovated in 2018, mostly focusing on improving sustainability, which resulted in a BREAAM 'Very Good' certification. The North and South Towers have a BREAAM 'Excellent' certification. This high-quality office building offers many facilities both inside and outside the building, including several meeting rooms, a restaurant, dry cleaner, and even a gym. Next to this, Amsterdam's business centre, Zuidas, is home to several hospitality establishments and is easily accessible by public transport, car or bicycle.
Caroline van Duren, Senior Consultant Occupier Solutions at Savills in the Netherlands, says: "Workthere, a subsidiary of Savills, specialised in flexible office space, has previously assisted Semrush B.V. with the search for its flexible office space in Amsterdam. Semrush B.V.’s recent growth made them decide to expand to a larger, traditional office space. Due to the well-established relationship via Workthere we once again successfully advised Semrush B.V. in finding suitable office space in Amsterdam.
Savills commercially advised Semrush B.V. in the leasing process. Cushman & Wakefield assisted landlord in collegial cooperation with CBRE & JLL. Sienna Real Estate Netherlands B.V. is responsible for the management of the Atrium Amsterdam.
