Savills valuation team in the Netherlands is expanding

International real estate advisor Savills has appointed two new valuers, Yücel Erisek and Sharon van Bemmel, who will be based in its Amsterdam office.

Sharon van Bemmel will join Savills valuation team as junior valuer from 12 April. Sharon recently completed her Masters in Business Administration at the TIAS School for Business & Society in Utrecht. She will join the existing banking valuation team and will primarily focus on property appraisals.

Yücel Erisek will start on 1 May and will join the international team. Yücel completed his Masters degree in Real Estate Finance at the University of Amsterdam and is starting as a junior valuer.

Currently, the Savills valuation team in the Netherlands consists of 25 real estate professionals. The specialist team provides national and international appraisals in all commercial sectors, ranging from offices and residential properties to logistics.

Martijn Onderstal, Head of Valuation at Savills in the Netherlands, explains: “With Sharon and Yücel, we are able to serve our clients even better. I am convinced that they will make an important contribution to the team and that their backgrounds and strong analytical skills will be of great value.”

“The subject of sustainability and valuations is enjoying greater attention, and this is another area where Sharon and Yücel will be able to help our clients. At present, two of our colleagues are conducting research into the role of specific sustainability characteristics on real estate and the value of solar parks. I am a firm advocate of these kind of initiatives and I am personally involved in the integration of sustainability in valuations.”
