Savills Dutch Valuation department achieves ISAE 3402 accreditation

Savills in the Netherlands has been awarded the ISAE 3402 Type II[1] statement, recognising robust internal processes, for the seventh consecutive year. This year marked the first instance where the entire valuation department underwent an audit, whereas previously, only a selected number of clients were included in the scope. The audit was carried out by Securance, a specialist in comprehensive risk management and cybersecurity solutions.

Martijn Onderstal, Head of Valuation at Savills in the Netherlands, says: "As valuers, we continuously navigate through a rapidly evolving landscape. The significance of IT and data has notably increased in recent years, and regulatory bodies such as NRVT (Dutch Register of Real Estate Valuers) and RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) have imposed increasingly stringent compliance criteria. Our ethos is centred around ensuring the security and quality of our data, which forms the cornerstone of our advisory services. For the ISAE 3402, our focus is on effectively configuring our work processes and implementing associated control measures. Consequently, we are able to provide all our clients with top-tier, data-driven, and tailored advice, underscored by the highest standards of quality assurance."

Koen van der Aa, COO of Securance, adds: ‘’At Securance, we look beyond the traditional boundaries of risk management and cybersecurity, tackling not only the challenges of today but also preparing for those of tomorrow. Our commitment to an integrated approach aims to elevate organisations to a higher level of maturity. The new ISAE 3402 reporting accreditation confirms the professionalism of Savills and represents quality, dedication, and innovation.”
