The national stats body report has just come out on 2022 and once again, Monaco defies the general global situation (economic gloom and the rest) with figures on the residential market looking pretty upbeat. Average price per m² is still over €50,000 though a slight drop of 1.8% on 2021’s figures. The new build market is more than buoyant with 88 sales last year: a record and reflects the various new builds we all know about including 45 Grimaldi and L’Exotique. 432 sales in the re-sale market which is up from 417 in 2021 and the value of the re sale market is approaching its 2019 peak once more. The number of transactions over €10m also rose to 17 as compared with 12 in 2021. All good news and Monaco clearly remains better than stable in challenging times.
