Best walk 

Le Sentier du Littoral is a coastal walk like no other, discover the Cap on this beautiful route at the waters edge and capture some of the most Impressive. Our top tip is to pack some good shoes, a picnic and to make a day of it since you will find some great spots to soak up the view.

Best beach

It is a tough decision when you are spoilt for choice with beautiful beaches and quiet coves but Plage Keller is a winner, where the team are friendly, the food excellent and the sea always inviting. 

Best Bar

The Fitzgerald piano bar in the Belle Rives Hotel should not be missed, soak up the atmosphere and think back to the golden age of the Côte d’Azur in the very place that inspired some of the most iconic literature. Or indulge in an Old fashioned at the waterfront and get lost in a classic.

Best story

If pirates, treasure, adventure and detectives are your thing then legend would have you believe that the Billionaires Bay at the tip of the Cap hides an old smuggling route and pirate cave, the same reason there is a local road named “le chemin des Contrebandiers” (The smugglers route), which was a historic get away route.

Best View

Known as Le Phare de la Garoupe, the lighthouse situated at the highest point on the Cap d’Antibes provides an excellent vantage point if you are brave enough – the lighthouse is set amongst the pines and open to the public, and at 29 metres high you are awarded with an excellent panoramic view in return for climbing all those steps! 

Best cultural spot

If you can tear yourself away from the sandy beaches or breautiful views definitely indulge your senses at the Picasso Museum where you will find a vast collection of his works, many completed during his time in the area.  And for those looking for a little more peace and quiet discover the grounds of Villa Eillanroc, full of history and beauty plus stop to check on the progress of the Olive grove planted for the Children of the Millennium.

Best sweet treat

After all that exploring, its time to indulge your sweet tooth and the team always enjoy patisserie or ice cream from the little bakery situated in Quartier de l’Illette in Antibes.

Best family outing

The Visiobulle is not to be missed and will entertain old and young alike. This glass bottomed boat takes you on a tour of the Cap and you can discover the sea life and try to spot a few shipwrecks on your way. The boat also takes you into Billionaires Bay where you can spot the waterfront steps once graced by Elisabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

Tucked away in the quiet side streets of Antibes old town you will find the outstanding Mamo Michelangelo Restaurant in Old Antibes, you never quite know who you will bump into as the location is always a hit with VIP’s, previous diners have included…John Travolta, Sean Penn, Matt Damon, Rihanna, Samuel L. Jackson, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Beyoncé and Magic Johnson…and the list goes on!
