The new restaurant comprises 1,303 sq. ft, spread over ground and basement floors. Taking centre stage in the heart of London’s iconic West End, and a stone's throw from Chinatown, the unique concept will be occupying space in a prime, corner location, with neighbours including Leon, Caffe Concerto, and the Apollo and Gielgud Theatres. Designed to integrate modernism and Chinese culture, the new location will provide a cozy and warm setting for visitors.
Olly Eades, Associate in Central London Retail at Savills, comments:“Shaftesbury Avenue provides the perfect location for Honeymoon Desserts’ first European site: just last month we saw tens of thousands of people flock to this vibrant destination in celebration of the Chinese New Year, and international tourism in the West End has almost recovered to pre-pandemic levels. The new site will be an excellent springboard for its UK expansion, as it looks to strengthen its presence in this new market.”
Savills’ counter parts Four & Co acted for the outgoing tenant. Callum Mortimer, Partner at Four & Co, adds:“Honeymoon Desserts matches the demographics and customer profile on Shaftesbury Avenue, and I have no doubt they will be a success.”
