Savills Studley today announced that Tyson & Mendes has a signed a long-term expansion lease for a total of 32,621 square feet at 1055 West 7th Street in Downtown Los Angeles. The rapidly growing law firm nearly tripled its square footage, and will occupy the full 25th floor, in addition to a portion of the 21st.
Chris Musgjerd of Savills Studley represented the law firm in the transaction, and advises Tyson & Mendes nationally.
Said Tyson & Mendes Managing Partner Robert Tyson: “Our Los Angeles office has seen particularly robust growth over the last two years, and this additional space will accommodate our short-term needs as well as the office’s longer-term expansion plans. We are looking to bring on at least 50 Los Angeles-based attorneys in the next six months.”
The office currently houses 32 attorneys and 21 full-time staff, as well as part of the firm’s Complex Trial Team, which advises on high-stakes litigation suits across the country. The expanded space can house an additional 90 employees.
