WATCH: Rooted in sustainable design – behind the scenes of our Chelsea Flower Show garden

From countryside to city street, creating sustainable, regenerative and human-centred development that works in harmony with nature is a major focus – and challenge – for today’s real estate industry.

It’s an approach that’s reflected in the design of The Savills Garden at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, a working plot-to-plate horticultural and culinary collaboration which aims to change the way we think about our gardens, as well as the way we eat and source our food.

The show garden is designed to engage, inspire and inform, while showcasing new and more sustainable, nose-to-tail build solutions and locally sourced materials. As designer Mark Gregory says: “What you see at Chelsea, you can copy and take home.”

Catch up with Mark and Michelin-green-star chef Sam Buckley as they discuss their enthusiasm and aspirations for Chelsea week, and beyond, in this short video introduced by Marylis Ramos of Savills Earth.
