Perhaps one of the most significant cultural shifts since the pandemic has been the increase in home working. For a lot of people the daily commute is now a thing of the past, with many preferring the flexibility of spending two or three days in the office and the rest of the week at home.
Demand for properties with space for home working continues to be extremely strong and having a room that doubles as an office is very much a must-have for buyers.
For some, this could be as simple as using an extra bedroom as a study, but for others it may well mean converting an existing outbuilding or installing a purpose-built office pod at the bottom of the garden.
