Will 2022 remain a strong seller’s market? The appetite to move shows no signs of slowing down – with demand outweighing the supply of homes available to buy.
With all this activity, is now a good time to sell your home? Should you capitalise on the first-mover advantage? Will waiting reduce your chance of finding a buyer? Moreover, when do we expect the imbalance of supply and demand to change?
On Monday 7th February, Anne Ashworth, former property and finance editor of The Times, and our panel of experts hosted a webinar to help sellers understand demand in the market and decide whether it’s the right time for them to sell. Lucian Cook, Head of Residential Research, and Faisal Choudhry analysed the current performance of the property market, including price movements, mortgage approvals and transaction levels. They were followed by a Q&A with our residential real estate agents from across the UK who shared anecdotes from their local property markets and their thoughts on whether the demand will continue.
