Branded Residence and Highlights of the Vietnamese Market 

In Viet Nam, the branded residence market began in the early 2000s with two pioneering projects, Four Seasons The Nam Hai and Hyatt Regency Danang. To date, Viet Nam has emerged as one of the world’s top four markets, recording more than 50 projects with the participation of 34 brands. 

Hotel brands continue to lead the Vietnamese market, with three major players, Marriott, IHG, and Accor, accounting for 40% of the total project portfolio. Meanwhile, the global branded residence landscape is more diverse, with the participation of regional hotel brands as well as lifestyle brands. 

Mauro Gasparotti, Senior Director of Savills Hotels and Head of Hospitality and Branded Residences in Viet Nam, commented that this is an opportune time for local developers to consider this model for mixed-use developments and high-end residential projects.
