Savills India’s latest report, India Market Snapshot | Q1 2022, is up for download and throws light on key trends and developments across 6 of India’s major office markets, namely Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.

A quick look at the highlights:

-India is estimated to reach pre-COVID levels of activity by the end of 2022 and is likely to record gross absorption of about 50 million sq. ft. in 2022. 

-In Q1 2022, India recorded 16.7 million sq. ft. of gross absorption, registering a YOY increase of 95%. 

-Concurrently, new supply of 16.3 million sq. ft. was added, registering a YOY increase of 40%. 

-Based on absorption, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR and Pune together contributed 66% share during Q1 2022. 

-Based on supply, Pune, Mumbai and Bengaluru together contributed 63% share during Q1 2022.
