Industrial & Logistics Sector in India witnessed 22.4 mn sq. ft. absorption across top 8 cities during first half of 2021, with robust project deliveries and fresh supply recorded at 20.6 mn sq. ft.

3PL, e-commerce and manufacturing sectors accounted for 75% of total absorption with NCR accounting for 29% followed by Mumbai (17%), Pune at 15% and Bengaluru at 12%.

The total stock across 8 metros (Grade A & B) was recorded at 250 mn sq. ft., in addition ~25 mn sq. ft. was in tier II locations of Coimbatore, Guwahati, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Nagpur and Patna.
