Held at Meribel Golf Club on Sunday the 9th of August, 111 competitors were welcomed by blue skies, beautiful temperatures, the stunning mountain views and a perfect course in pristine condition.

Now, more than ever, the health and safety of our clients and colleagues is of the utmost importance so with careful planning, safety measures and a time controlled staggered start it was possible to complete the competition in an individual Stableford formula plus buffet style lunch and awards ceremony hosted by the Cantine d’Allevard.

The men’s competition was won by Mathias NARQUIN who played +1 above PAR whilst for the ladies competition Agnes BURDET reigned victorious.  Congratulations to the winners and all competitors for excellent performances.

In addition 27 prizes were awarded by Savills for the separate Drive and Approach contests.

Summer in the Alps is a season like no other and this year sees an extended summer season to welcome the Tour de France on the 16th and 17th of September. Head of Savills Méribel, Grégoire Ferary-Berthelot said “the Savills Golf Cup was an excellent opportunity to celebrate summer and the fantastic Alpine environment of the three Valleys but also to support local businesses and tourism in a location we are proud to live and work in.”

Jérôme Lagoutte, Head of Savills Courchevel reiterated that “the event was a great success and it was a pleasure to share with our clients, colleagues and friends in an alternative setting and get to know them further and share this exceptional setting. Hopefully this will be the first Golf Cup of many.”

Savills would like to take this opportunity to thank Méribel Golf Club, the president, director and all the technical and administrative staff, the sponsors and the numerous local businesses who all worked together to make this day a true success. Without  their support, prizes, kind assistance and community action the day would not have been possible.

For all those sporting enthusiast, the Savills French Alps teams will be hosting the Fourth annual Savills Slalom on Thursday the 18th of February at the Stade de la Chaudanne in Méribel in association with the Ecole de Ski Français. Featuring a torch lit decent, ski race, award ceremony and reception the teams look forward to welcoming you for a fantastic evening of sporting success.
