In the auctions world you can find all sorts of weird and wonderful properties that you wouldn’t see in a high street agent’s window, from project homes through to investment opportunities and some more eccentric lots too. This month’s sale is no different and is our largest ever July catalogue.
Comprising 170 lots, there’s a truly varied offering and we’re already experiencing significant interest ahead of the sale.
One of the more unusual properties can only be accessed by private boat and helicopter. Dating from the First World War, Bull Sandfort is a Grade II listed military fort in the Humber Estuary. Reactivated and modernised during the Second World War, it was decommissioned in 1956 and now, with an imaginative buyer and the right planning consents, could be refurbished and transformed for a number of uses such as a high end hotel, restaurant, Airbnb, grand design-style personal dwelling, retreat or a tourist attraction.
And, that’s not the only draw this summer, there are many others from residential project homes through to multiple opportunities to acquire your own pub.
The virtual sale is due to take place on 19 July and follows a record-breaking June sale which saw the highest amount raised at a Savills auction in over five years. In June we had our highest number of bidders registering and saw increased interest from abroad.
Below is just a small selection of properties going under the hammer next week. The full catalogue can be viewed here.
