Return of the blossoming spring property market

With gardens and outside spaces springing back to life at last and property starting to look its best both inside and out, many might be thinking of bringing their homes to market.

It is no secret that the seasonality of the property market has been turned on its head for the past two years due to Covid and subsequent lockdowns. Traditionally quieter times in the year were still very active, with buyers continually looking for homes that were suited to their needs.

While the hottest markets are still characterised by a shortage of stock, the traditional increase in properties available at this time of year looks like it has returned – even at the upper end of the country house market.

Here we take a look at some of the very best country houses available for sale across the UK, from a historic Tudor home that is reputed to have been part of Anne of Cleves’s divorce settlement from Henry VIII to a country house whose woods supplied the panelling for the Houses of Parliament. All of our properties also feature glorious gardens to enjoy this spring and beyond.
