For anyone working in the auctions sector, one of the most interesting aspects of the job is the sheer variety of properties we see. One minute we could be inspecting a large-scale mixed-use development site in Manchester to bring to market, and the next we are off to a listed house in a popular London suburb.
In the past we’ve sold areas of pavement, former water towers, an ivy-covered ‘tree house’ and even the home once lived in by Vincent van Gogh. With 10 auctions a year and hundreds of properties in each catalogue, we sell a huge cross section of stock – and from sale to sale, it’s guaranteed there’ll be all kinds of opportunities, from attractive investments to complete one-offs.
Coming up in February, we have more than 150 lots on offer with guide prices ranging from £6,000 up to nearly £3 million.
Here we take a look at some of the lots due to be offered, including a Grade II listed London townhouse, a former car showroom and garage in Northampton and a lodge house on a private estate in Berkshire.
