Dublin 8 – the home of Guinness, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Christchurch… and you?

Dublin 8 has seen a rise in popularity for residential dwellers over the past number of years, with it becoming a go-to location for families, sharers, couples and single dwellers alike. Taking a walk through various spots in the wider Dublin 8 area shows why – there’s an abundance of historical landmarks, schools, parks and recreational facilities as well as community neighbourhoods to meet every need.

With this in mind, I’ll highlight 3 of our key Dublin 8 developments, all with current availability, so like so many others you can consider joining the Dublin 8 community:

Clancy Quay, Islandbridge, Dublin 8

A development of 847 residential units set over a site spanning 5.5 hectares, the former military buildings of Clancy Barracks have been lovingly restored and purpose-built apartments constructed by Kennedy Wilson to provide its residents with a second-to-none living experience. On site resident amenities include a gym, resident lounge, cinema room, pet park and full concierge services. It’s also a short walk from the Phoenix Park, so there is no excuse for getting out to clear your head if currently working from home!

Heuston South Quarter, Kilmainham, Dublin 8

A mere 3 minute walk to Heuston Station, Heuston South Quarter (or HSQ) is set adjacent to the grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham and the Irish Museum of Modern Art. The location of this development not only offers quick access to the city centre, but also offers those who may be commuting to outside of the city (Leixlip, Maynooth, M50, M7 belt) easy access to road networks within a short drive. Large 1-, 2-, and 3-bed apartments are available in HSQ, all offering ample storage and a range of aspects to suit every taste. A full concierge service is on site, along with 24 hour security, and you will also have the convenience of a range of shops and services on site such as SuperValu, Insomnia Coffee, Anytime Fitness and a Safari Creche.

Fumbally Studios, Fumbally Lane, Dublin 8

With the feel of a New York style apartment, Fumbally Studios is located in the heart of the Liberties. With an abundance of trendy eateries and bars on your doorstep, this apartment will appeal to those looking for a lofty, spacious apartment while being a short walk from the city centre. There is one remaining 2-bed apartment left, with 2 bathrooms and sufficient space for a WFH area to be set up, without it impacting on the main living space of the apartment.

With crisp winter days now upon us, consider wrapping up, putting on the walking shoes and taking in the sights (and sites) of Dublin 8 – you may just picture yourself living there. If you have any questions on the above developments, please get in touch.
