In the auctions world you can find all sorts of weird and wonderful property that you wouldn’t find in a high street agent’s window, from project homes through to investment opportunities and some more eccentric lots too.
Our sixth remote sale takes place on 24 September with around 150 lots on offer, a mixture of residential and commercial properties that we expect will appeal to investors, owner occupiers and those buying at auction for the first time.
Last month our first ever August sale raised over £20 million. And, despite there being a fall in the value of residential property sold at auction across the whole market, Savills has now sold over £154 million worth of property during 2020, over 35 per cent more than the same period in 2019. Interestingly, our September catalogue includes a significant number of properties above £500,000 and £1,000,000.
Here are some highlights from the upcoming sale, including a football stadium in Surrey (pictured above), a water tower in Lincolnshire and a farmhouse in need of renovation in Cornwall. The full catalogue can be viewed here.
