Monaco Yacht Show

Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht show has long been known to showcase the most prestigious collection of superyachts in the world. The location of this spectacle is the magnificent deep-water port, heroically named Port Hercules. The origins of the port date back to ancient times, however the version we see today was built in 1926 and upgraded in the 70s. The port today covers almost 40 acres and has the capacity to provide anchorage for up to 700 vessels.

After being postponed in 2020 due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the Monaco Yacht Show is back in full swing. The event this year has taken into consideration the health risks of having a large number of people in one place at one time and so has decided to create a customer-centric yacht show focused at the exclusive buying/ chartering clientele.

Between the 22 - 25 September 2021 the most interesting yachts launched in the previous year will be on display in Port Hercules and they will host clients who are either looking to purchase or charter the yachts. The top global yachting brokerages will be present, including Savills Private Office partners Burgess. Coupled with superyachts, a portfolio of estates in strategic locations across the globe is an essential concern for the world’s UHNWI. With that in mind the partnership with Burgess Yachts, a company that has been perfecting their craft since 1975 and who are today number one in every field of superyachting over 30m, is a natural pairing with the professionalism of the Savills Private Office.

Richard Lambert, Head of Sales at Burgess Yachts shared his views about this year's yacht show:

"Monaco Show is one of the key dates in the Superyacht diary and is an opportunity to bring together the yachting industry with owners, charterers and those looking to purchase. It is a chance for the shipyards to showcase their latest launches.

It is good to be back after Covid, there is enthusiasm for a return to the office and it is great to be out and about meeting clients, being in board and being at the Cannes and Monaco shows and seeing clients and industry colleagues face to face.

Yachts to look about for: IJE one of the most exciting listings that has come for sale and also PROJECT VICTORIUS which will feature a very exciting new launch - watch this space!"

The Savills team will be around the Yacht Show all week and will be able to answer and land based property questions you have.
