The world’s largest festival of cycling returns to the capital this weekend with hordes of people expected to take to their bikes and ride the final 19 miles of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 route.
The route starts in Sandown Park in Surrey on Sunday 4th August, goes through south-west London and into the heart of the capital to its spectacular finish on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. The event aims to encourage newer and younger cyclists to take part in their first mass-participation cycling event.
Surrey is, of course, great cycling country, with every type of terrain on offer, from quiet country lanes for Sunday cycling to hard-core trails for mountain biking. The following country homes are all excellently placed for getting out and about on two wheels.
