Properties with a front row seat at Cannes Film Festival

Cannes Film Festival

After rescheduling and cancellation due to the global health situation, the Cannes Film Festival is back and bigger than ever with a stellar line up of films and celebrities. The 74th annual Cannes Film Festival runs from the 6-17 of July and once again will deliver an additional top up to the town's status as one of the main jewels in the crown of the French Riviera.

The film festival has huge international appeal and undoubtedly has played a large part in catapulting this once tranquil fishing village in the South of France straight into the limelight. Indeed, the population of the town is thought to triple during the festival as the event draws the great and good from the film industry and those keen to experience first-hand the celebrities, the buzz and the glitter.

La Croisette and the Palais des Festivals play centre stage for the fortnight and it is hard not to get caught up in the energy of the event. People watching may be a French national sport but this is the place to soak up the atmosphere and spot the stars who grace the red carpets.

Cannes and glamour go hand in hand. Gowns, paparazzi and charisma take over the magnificent Croisette which curves around the bay boasting sandy beaches, private gardens, luxurious hotels, casinos and nightlife aplenty. La Croisette is definitely the place to be seen and is also one of the most sought-after locations in Riviera real estate, with many Croisette buildings offering uninterrupted sea views.

Below is a selection of Croisette properties, some of which undoubtedly hold that elusive front row seat to the screenings.
