Tips for selling property in Windsor

With such a wide range of properties available in Barnes, knowing which buyers to appeal to is vital when selling your home. Here are our top tips for marketing your property in Barnes.

 

1. For an area that is two and a half times smaller than Heathrow Airport, Barnes is full of surprises, with all types of properties available, from studio flats to 8/9-bedroom houses. Make sure that prospective buyers are fully aware of this enormous range, as someone who started off thinking they might not find what they’re looking for could end up exceeding their expectations. 

2. Barnes is very popular with families because of its village feel, river and fantastic schools in the area. If you have children, don’t shy away from letting this show when preparing to sell.  It can help viewers to be able to imagine a property as a family home, and children’s paintings on the wall or toys in a corner can quickly make your home look lived-in and loved.

3. Make sure your property is dressed at every opportunity – many potential buyers are looking to move from areas like Fulham and seeking the calmer location that Barnes offers.
