As 14 July approaches, France prepares for one of its biggest national holidays – Bastille Day. Commemorating the start of the French revolution, the day features a grand military parade, family feasts and no doubt a fair amount of fine wine. However if the day’s military pomp doesn’t get you dreaming a dream of time gone by, Paris has plenty more to offer.
The romantic city is known for its classic architecture, with Jardin du Luxembourg and its surrounding area becoming an increasingly sought-after location in which to own property. This area also hosts some the finest schools in Paris, making it a popular spot for families as well as young couples.

It is easy to see why so many poets have called this area home and why it is now one of the most fashionable enclaves of Paris.
