With a record number of responses from occupiers, investors, developers, agents and consultants across the UK, the results of our latest Future Space report in partnership with Tritax Symmetry suggest that ongoing geopolitical uncertainty is influencing decision-making.

Having left behind a challenging 2023 in the real estate markets, investors will be hoping for more activity in 2024. With 70% of occupiers requiring more energy, a lack of power is likely to be a defining issue for the sector moving forward. More than ever, it’s an important time to understand occupier and investor intentions, while gaining insights into the key challenges and opportunities they face.

In partnership with Tritax Symmetry and in conjunction with Property Week, the 7th Annual Future Space Event (previously known as Industrial & Logistics Spotlight) brought together key figures within the sector to discuss and debate the results of the survey and the issues affecting the industry today.

Kevin Mofid, Head of EMEA Industrial and Logistics Research at Savills, shared the stage with Jonathan Atherton of Savills, Kate Howe of Tritax Symmetry, Saul Resnick CEO of DHL Supply Chain and David Ashwell, Group Logistics Director of AO. The event closed with a keynote speech from prominent British journalist and author Robert Peston.
