We had a variety of talks from Savills experts including Emily Norton (Head of Rural Research), Simon Foster (Head of Tourism, Leisure and Events), Michael Lock (Associate Director, Energy), William Hawes (Director, Rural Management), Brian Stevenson (Chief Executive, Scone Palace) and Ewan Reid (Associate Director, Forestry) who all touched on a range of topics including rural strategy, diversification income, future of energy, carbon and natural capital. They also gave predictions of what the ‘New Normal’ will look like and new trends we can expect to see within rural businesses.
