Brownie arrives at MAR Shopping Matosinhos with Savills

The youth fashion brand founded in 2006 continues to expand and already has 12 stores from the north to the south of the country

The retail department of Savills has placed Brownie, a Spanish women’s fashion brand inspired by Mediterranean style, in MAR Shopping Matosinhos, a reference meeting place with a diverse offering of shops and services, unique concepts in the North region such as an IMAX® cinema and the largest LEGO® Fan Factory in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as a programme of free culture and leisure activities for families.

Widely recognised for conveying joy, authenticity, and simplicity, and currently present in over 8 countries, Brownie occupies an area of 112 sq m on the first floor of this shopping centre, which is its which is its 12th store in Portugal.

The completion of this operation is the result of nearly five years of collaboration between Savills and MAR Shopping Matosinhos, owned by Ingka Centres, which has boosted the commercialisation of shops and temporary spaces in the shopping centre.

“MAR Shopping Matosinhos is a meeting place, and as a gathering point for our community, we prioritise a wide, diverse, and whenever possible, innovative offering. Brownie completely fits this philosophy as it is a brand for a young audience, relaxed and fun, which complements well the stores we already have,” says Sandra Monteiro, general director of MAR Shopping Matosinhos.
