Boutique Mayfair scheme launched

A bespoke residential development of 16 luxury lateral apartments has been launched in the heart of Mayfair.

Set within two grand Georgian townhouses, 36 & 37 Hertford Street Residences will be a mix of one- and two-bedroom homes and is being delivered by CIT Group, the developers behind landmark schemes such as Regent's Crescent, Lancer Square and 8 Eaton Lane.

The boutique collection, which is due for completion in Q3 2025, is nestled within one of Mayfair’s ‘hidden gems’ – Shepherd’s Market – and the apartments will benefit from large windows, with ceiling heights up to 3.1m, creating an abundance of natural light. Prices are from £1,300,000.

Each residence has been carefully designed and crafted, with a nod to 17th century architects Robert Adam and Henry Holland and include spacious layouts and natural material finishes throughout.

In addition to the scheme’s bespoke interiors by renowned design studio, Albion Nord, the two buildings are situated next door to Mayfair's newest luxury hotel, with the residents at 36 & 37 Hertford Street benefitting from the hotel's dedicated specialist team, available to fulfil personal requests.

Ed Lewis, London development director at Savills, says: “36 & 37 Hertford Street Residences is a truly boutique offering in one of the world's most desirable neighbourhoods. With only 16 beautifully crafted residences available, it represents a brief opportunity for discerning buyers to secure a coveted spot within London’s Golden Triangle and Mayfair's super prime market.

“Shepherd’s Market is one of Mayfair’s hidden gems and its village-like atmosphere is unlike any other, with an array of local amenities ranging from independent art galleries to designer retailers, excellent nearby schooling and a host of bars and eateries –with Mayfair alone being home to 16 Michelin-starred restaurants.”

Henry Barrow, Sales Director at CIT Group, said: “These Georgian townhouses were once home to landed gentry, writers and politicians, and Hertford Street became their gateway into London’s luxury quarter. We have taken great pride in our vision for 36 and 37 Hertford Street Residences, ensuring that as much of the building’s heritage and character is maintained, while providing future residents a luxury living space that they will be proud of.”

36 & 37 Hertford Street Residences are being sold jointly by Savills, Knight Frank and Beauchamps Estates.
