HOUSTON (June 24, 2024) – Savills initiated a new real estate strategy for client Empyrean Benefit Solutions, Inc. Empyrean will relocate its headquarters to a 41,667-square-foot office space across two full floors at CityWest Building 4 located at 2103 CityWest Boulevard.

“Empyrean was seeking a more invigorating workspace as the company has embraced a hybrid-forward work environment,” said Savills Texas region Co-President Mark O’Donnell who oversaw the real estate strategy. “The company needed to reimagine its space and sought to remain in the West Houston area to accommodate the commuting patterns of its current workforce and future employees. In this submarket, there is limited availability for top-tier space and the CityWest campus provided an opportunity for Empyrean to relocate its headquarters and reside in an amenity-rich setting. This is another example of the flight-to-capital trend where tenants are relocating to properties with strong ownership who have heavily invested in making office building assets appeal to occupiers.” 

Empyrean plans to relocate by early 2025 and the company is planning a customer showcase center that will allow clients to experience its latest technologies. O’Donnell was supported in lease negotiations by Savills Senior Managing Director Jennifer Meehan and Corporate Managing Director Patrick Miller handled design and construction consulting services for Empyrean.

CityWest, formerly known as CityWestPlace, is a 39-acre, Class-A office campus in the West Houston submarket encompassing four buildings with a total of 1,473,177 rentable square feet alongside extensive outdoor spaces recognized nationally for their landscaping.
