Savills develops concept and design for the new headquarters of the multinational Sacyr Somague in Lisbon

The consultancy’s BPC & Architecture department was once again selected by the Spanish company to carry out a preliminary study and execute the respective project

After designing Sacyr Somague’s offices in Rua Castilho, Savills BPC & Architecture department has once again developed the concept and design for the company’s new headquarters, located in the Torres de Lisboa Business Centre.

The Spanish multinational company, operating in the infrastructure and concessions sector, saw this office park as the perfect opportunity to develop its operations in Portugal. This new space was therefore an urgent response to the need to adapt to a new work model, reconciling individual office areas with the integration of an open space area alongside new informal and collaborative areas.

Sacyr’s corporate image served as the inspiration and guiding thread for the design of the intervention in this approximately 600 sq m space. In this sense, the colour palette and the geometric shapes of the logo that punctuate the space, both on the floor and in the partitions and differentiating elements, were privileged.

“We have endeavoured to create an innovative, more collaborative, comfortable, clean, and pleasant space at the new headquarters, with spaces designed for well-being and adapted to the needs of all employees. The collaborative spaces were studied in detail with the Group’s corporate image in mind. Savills was once again the partner chosen for this challenge and was able to exceed all our expectations. Pushed by the short time it took to complete the project, they were always available and tireless throughout the process. The transformation of the space was incredible. We managed to surprise our employees and we are very happy with our new headquarters. Thank you to Savills for another project together,” emphasises Rita Santos, head of Human Resources and General Services at Sacyr in Portugal.

“It is extremely challenging and rewarding for Savills to develop ambitious projects such as the one for Sacyr Portugal, where the focus was on collaborative spaces that convey well-being. Once again, the Savills team was able to streamline the whole process quickly, delivering a result that met the client’s expectations,” emphasises Pedro Gomes, Associate Architect at Savills Portugal.
