JLL joins Savills Portugal in commercialising the Valongo Logistics Park

This project by developer Panattoni is being marketed on a co-exclusive basis by JLL and Savills and is set to be a benchmark in the property and logistics sector in Portugal.

JLL’s I&L team has been appointed to market the new and innovative Valongo Logistics Park with Savills Portugal, a major project that is set to revolutionise the region's logistics infrastructure.

Panattoni, one of the leading global property and logistics development companies, is investing 50 million euros in the construction of this mega logistics park in Valongo, in the district of Porto. The state-of-the-art asset will have two warehouses, with 26,000 and 49,000 sq m, and the total area of office space will be 3,000 sq m, which can be leased to one or several tenants. The Logistics Park also has 35 metres of manoeuvring space for trucks, as well as 506 parking spaces for cars and 137 for trucks.

According to Mariana Rosa, Head of Markets Advisory at JLL: “This project is a remarkable achievement for the region and represents an important milestone in the logistics sector in Portugal. This state-of-the-art park, able to accommodate up to 140 loading bays, is certified “BREEAM very good”, reducing the warehouse’s operating costs, and its location is remarkable. On the outskirts of Porto, it has direct access and frontage to the A41 motorway and is two kilometres from the A4 motorway. The city centre is just 25 minutes away, which makes this logistics park a unique location for companies, both because of its proximity to the city and its location next to the main motorways.
