Savills boosts building & project consultancy's dilapidations team with two new joiners

Savills has expanded its central London dilapidations and lease management team, part of building & project consultancy, with the appointment of Adam Nash and Ollie Hill who join as a director and associate respectively and will both be based at the firm’s Margaret Street head office in London.

Adam has almost 20 years’ experience in the property sector specialising in dilapidations. During this time he has built up a wide breadth of experience providing strategic advice on every stage of the life cycle of a lease. Adam joins from Avison Young where he led the firm’s dilapidations service line for 10 years, saving money and mediating for all types of clients. Prior to this, he worked as a buildings archaeologist.

Ollie has worked in the real estate industry for the last seven years, focusing on providing strategic dilapidations advice to both landlords and tenants. His expertise also encompasses contract administration and project management, overseeing a wide range of projects. Ollie joins from Hollis Global Limited, where he qualified as a chartered building surveyor in 2017.

At Savills, Adam and Ollie will work as part of the central London dilapidations and lease management team providing strategic advice to mitigate risk for key clients across all sectors including Aspect Property Group, Crown Properties, Legal and General Investment Management, M&G and Cadogan Estates.

Adam Nash comments: “I am very excited to have joined Savills market leading team. This continues to be an interesting time for the real estate sector with dilapidations playing a crucial role in the life cycle of a lease, especially given the new focus on ESG and its potential impact on tenant lease liabilities. I look forward to working with colleagues from across the business on a wide variety of projects.”

Claire Hood, co-head of the central London dilapidations and lease management team, adds: “We are very pleased to welcome both Adam and Ollie to Savills. Their skillsets and expertise will undoubtedly help to further strengthen our capacity and ensure we can continue to offer exceptional service to our clients.”

Martin Heffron, co-head of the central London dilapidations and lease management team, says: “Dilapidations is something that all our clients need to consider regardless of asset type or sector. For this reason it’s great that we are continuing to grow the team.”
