Savills responsible for the exclusive letting of the shops in THE ONE building

Savills has been appointed to exclusively market the shops in THE ONE building; it’s a project by Kronos Homes, the property developer focused on residential projects with a clear commitment to architecture and design.

Located in the centre of Lisbon, on Avenida João XXI, these commercial spaces have areas of between 59 and 123 sq m and can be combined with each other. They are part of a high-quality residential building designed by the renowned and award-winning architect Eduardo Souto de Moura. The four shops are nearly finished and have an exhaust system and a gas network, making them ideal for catering spaces.

The shops at THE ONE are located in a consolidated residential and office area. The development is located in a prestigious area, next to Campo Pequeno and opposite the Caixa Geral de Depósitos building, whose offices have around 2,000 employees and which will be the future headquarters of some ministries. THE ONE is also close to some of Lisbon’s most important arteries, such as Praça de Londres and Avenida de Roma, with the D. Filipa de Lencastre school nearby, which is attended by around 2,000 students.

José Galvão, Head of Retail at Savills, stated: “Savills is very committed to this Kronos Homes project. Avenidas Novas is an increasingly popular area in Lisbon where brands can find quality spaces with traffic and rents that suit their business models. We believe that these spaces will quickly be occupied by relevant brands and will be attractive to investors focused on the retail market.”

Tomás Nogueira, Lisbon Regional Director for Kronos Homes, declared: “THE ONE has been a commercial success at the residential level, with more than 90 per cent of the units sold. With construction due to finish by the end of this quarter, we believe this is the ideal time to launch these commercial spaces, whose unique architectural lines of the façades and special facilities planned from scratch, will set them apart from the existing offer.”
