Eagle Street Partners Announces Major Lease Renewal with Curtiss Wright in Clonskeagh

Property advisor, Savills Ireland, on behalf of its client Eagle Street Partners, is pleased to announce the successful completion of a significant lease renewal with Curtiss Wright for Block 5 of the Richview Office Park in Dublin.

Curtiss Wright's decision to extend their lease for a further 10 years for the entire 25,000 sq ft space in Block 5 is a significant endorsement of the Clonskeagh area.

Both Eagle Street Partners and Curtiss Wright are dedicated to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. A collaborative effort has led to an extensive refurbishment plan aimed at enhancing the building's operational and environmental performance, elevating its Building Energy Rating (BER) to an impressive A3.

The building will undergo significant upgrades, including the replacement of gas-fired systems with electric alternatives, installation of solar power, and LED lighting. These improvements are expected to reduce energy intensity and operational costs considerably.

Eagle Street Partners is investing approximately €2.7 million in this project. This investment reflects their intent to optimise their portfolio and showcases their proactive engagement with tenants to assess ESG and decarbonisation pathways, aligning with the policies and preferences of all stakeholders.

Since acquiring Block 5 and other nearby properties, Eagle Street has invested not only in building improvements but also in placemaking initiatives. More information about available office space can be obtained through the letting agent, Savills.

Eagle Street was represented by Seán Ryan McCaffrey of Savills, while Robert McHugh of Cushman and Wakefield represented Curtiss Wright in this transaction.
