Gleba arrives at Príncipe Real with Savills

The Retail department successfully concluded the operation that will allow the brand to open a new space in the capital

The new Gleba shop will open its doors in Princípe Real, in what is known as one of Lisbon’s trendiest neighbourhoods. Savills Portugal Retail department was responsible for advising on the entire operation.


With nine shops in the Greater Lisbon area, Gleba continues its growth trajectory in the city, presenting a differentiating concept of heritage-led innovation, based on timeless principles to innovate and create value. The brand, which uses entirely local cereals to create its own flour, was looking for a space to bring its authenticity to a new area of the city.


Savills thus found the space that provides the perfect match for the client’s needs. Situated in a highly visible location, this space is part of an old building, conveying an identity that is totally in line with its “star” product.


Here, customers will find a highly differentiated range of groceries, with authentic products of unrivalled quality that complement and elevate Gleba’s signature product: the bread. This is the ideal shop for those who want to quickly buy breakfast, a snack or a drink, since the existing cafeteria offer includes the speciality coffee to go. This Gleba space is also the perfect stop before lunch or dinner, as it also has products suitable for starters and light meals.
