Savills, through its Office department, has just placed HanseCom in the Barbosa du Bocage 113 building, an asset located in the heart of the Portuguese capital, in the Prime CBD area. This lease transaction, which began at the end of 2022, now represents the company’s first office space in Portugal.
Headquartered in Hamburg, the company that develops future-oriented software solutions for local public transport, occupies 322.50 sq. m on the 2nd floor D of the Barbosa du Bocage 113 building.
The privileged location of this completely refurbished building was another determining factor for the completion of this operation along with the excellent accessibility to the transport network, as well as to the main roads of the city such as the A2, A4, North-South Axis and 2nd Circular.
“This was a fast process, as we wanted to start operating in Lisbon as soon as possible. Savills provided an excellent service in the search and identification of alternatives, combined with the permanent availability and friendliness of their team; this allowed us to clearly decide that the Barbosa du Bocage 113 building would be HanseCom’s first address in Portugal. We are very happy to have concluded this business deal; this decision underscores HanseCom’s commitment to providing the best possible conditions for its employees but also furthers its growth strategy in Portugal. The new office is located in one of the best areas of the city, contributing to the expansion of our team. We would like to thank everyone involved for making this possible”, according to Rodrigo Machado, Managing Director of HanseCom Iberia.
“Lisbon is still one of the most attractive destinations for international companies who want to expand their business. It was therefore with great satisfaction that Savills assisted HanseCom in its entry into Portugal, a process that involved a very specific set of requirements to which we were able to respond quickly, presenting a solution that met the client's needs”, underlines José Baptista, Offices Consultant, Savills Portugal.
