Three new restaurant openings in Amsterdam's CBD

Union Investment, assisted by Savills Property Management team, welcomes three new hospitality concepts to its office buildings in Amsterdam's CBD district. The Salsa Shop and Coffee & Coconuts already opened its doors, with GEORGE opening its doors over the next few months.

After its Ceintuurbaan location, Coffee & Coconuts opened its second restaurant in the ITO Tower last Monday. The restaurant is known for its fresh products, unique store-brand coffee blends and all-day breakfast.

GEORGE is also heading to the Zuidas in early 2023. George Café de Paris will be the tenth restaurant of the well-known Amsterdam French brasserie chain.

These commitments follow the opening of the Salsa Shop which recently moved into Union Investment’s UN Studio located on the corner of Claude Debussylaan and Parnassusweg. The Salsa Shop has been expanding its Mexican food concept since 2014 with daily fresh-made burritos, tacos and salads. This is the seventh restaurant in Amsterdam with five more in Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague, Leiden en Groningen.

Irene van Esseveld, Associate Director Account Manager at Savills in the Netherlands, says: "F&B concepts on the Zuidas are indispensable. After all, it is an area where working and living come together. In order to meet the needs of all stakeholders - now and in the future - it is vital that the area continues to develop. These three restaurants will contribute to this aim. We are delighted to have been able to advise Union Investment on these transactions."
