We have acted as sell-side advisor in the sale of a notable cooperative housing association in Frederikssund. The housing association Falkenborggården has sold their property to a local investor for an amount in the triple-digit million range.

The property is a mixed-use property with residential and commercial use divided between approx. 4,500 sqm commercial area and 5,000 sqm residential area.

The short-term plans for the property are to renovate it, but long-term, the aim is to strengthen efforts and interplay between residential and commercial areas in Frederikssund. The vision is to create a more complete urban district and strengthen the synergy between residents and businesses in the town. To facilitate this development, plans are to establish a connection between the old shopping street Jernbanegade and the area leading to the harbour. Expectations are that this will contribute to attracting more shoppers and business people alike.

A variety of developments and activities are in pipeline, all of which will be exciting for the property as well as the residents specifically, but also for the town and the Frederikssund residents in general.
