Savills announced the lease of the entire Niña Building, located at Avenida 5 de Outubro nº 206, to Lusitania Seguros. In this process, the consultant represented the building’s owner, the Imofomento Real Estate Investment Fund, managed by BPI Gestão de Ativos, SA.
The Niña Building offers 3,803 sq m of office space across nine floors, with 76 underground parking spaces. Located next to Entrecampos intermodal station, the asset, which will serve as Lusitania Seguros’ new headquarters from July 2025, benefits from excellent public transport links and quick road access to other parts of the city.
Lusitania Seguros, founded in 1986 as the first insurer with 100% Portuguese capital, is part of the Montepio Group and has 37 years of experience in the non-life insurance sector.
Luísa Noronha, Offices Associate at Savills, comments, “It has been a pleasure to complete this major deal with such a prestigious company. The Niña Building offers exceptional conditions and a prime location, ideal for hosting Lusitania’s new offices. The Lisbon office market is now thriving, and in this particular area, we have seen an increasing number of companies moving in, which is yet another example of this vitality and of Savills ability to find the best solutions for its clients.”
It is worth noting that this is the second-largest transaction recorded in Zone 2 in 2024, with the Deloitte lease at Rato 11 being the largest deal. A total of 31 transactions were recorded in the identified zone up until November this year, corresponding to a total area of 26,670 sq m.
