New owner occupier moves into 140 Causewayside warehouse unit, Glasgow

Bullet Express, advised jointly by Savills and Colliers, has sold the freehold of a warehouse unit at 140 Causewayside Street in Glasgow to Clockwork Removals for an undisclosed sum.

The property comprises a modern distribution warehouse totalling 30,918 sq ft, which will be occupied in full by the removal and storage company.

Following the successful acquisition, Clockwork Removals has instructed Savills to market its former premises at Cloberfield Industrial Estate in Milngavie, Glasgow. Totalling 26,474 sq ft, the unit is available to let through Savills via Glasgow based Ross Sinclair.

Ross Sinclair, director in the industrial & logistics team at Savills Scotland, comments: “Situated within a prime location in the established commercial area of Tollcross, the property lies within close proximity to junction 2A of the M74 motorway providing excellent access to Glasgow city centre, Lanarkshire, the south and the rest of the national motorway network. This made it the perfect place for Clockwork Removals as the business continues to expand.”

Courtenay Morison at Clockwork Removals, adds: “We are delighted to conclude this transaction. It is a fantastic unit and ideally suited for Clockwork to continue growing our removals and storage business in Glasgow.”
