Savills boosts investment team in Sweden with two new senior hires

With immediate effect, Savills Sweden has hired Robb Simpson as a director and Viktor Pettersson as an associate director as it further grows its investment team. Both will be based at the firm’s Stockholm office.

The announcement follows the recruitment of Daniel Albrektson who joined the team as an investment director in June.

Raised in Scotland, Robb Simpson has lived in Sweden since 2010. Amongst others, he has worked for BNP Paribas Real Estate, Catella and helped set up Cityhold, a company which invests in real estate on behalf of Sweden’s national pension funds AP1 and AP2. At Cityhold, Robb sourced and advised on acquisitions in the UK and mainland Europe.

Viktor Pettersson joins from Atrium Ljungberg, where, as part of the transaction team, he was responsible for valuations as well as investment modelling. He previously worked for Cushman & Wakefield, providing both valuation and tenant representation advice.

Carolina Herling, head of investment, Savills Sweden, says: “I am delighted that we have been able to recruit Robb Simpson and Viktor Pettersson. Their vast experience of the Swedish and wider European investment markets will be invaluable to our current and future clients.”

Niklas Samuelsson, CEO of Savills Sweden, adds: “I am pleased to welcome Robb and Viktor, who are both highly regarded in the industry, and who will further strengthen our investment offering.”
