LaSalle Investment Management Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft MbH has signed a long-term lease extension with tenant Hemwood at Keizersgracht 473-479 in Amsterdam. Hemwood expands the leased space with 400 sq m, now totalling 800 sq m office space.
Bas Sijbom, Associate Leasing at Savills in Amsterdam, says: "In recent months we have seen a recovery in the office occupier market in the centre of Amsterdam. Many occupiers are well aware of the consequences of the pandemic, and this is reflected in increasing take-up volumes. In the centre of Amsterdam, for example, approximately 7,000 sq m of office space has been taken up in 2022Q1 compared to 2021Q4. This lease extension and expansion confirms that organisations need qualitative offices that meet the needs of their employees.
